Bay of Islands Yacht Charters Ltd is proudly 100% New Zealand Owned and Operated. "Sensation" is a spacious and well-appointed Farr 1020, a 34ft sailing yacht designed and built in New Zealand for cruising comfort and performance. As the only vessel we have for bareboat (private - sail yourself) charter, you can expect personal attention and a beautifully maintained yacht for your holiday.
Well suited to two couples or a family (max 4 adults), our yacht has two double and two single berths. Sensation features a well-equipped galley, everything you need for an unforgettable journey, and the comforts of home with a full pressure hot water system supplying the galley and head, plus a hot transom shower for rinsing off after a swim.

Roberton Island
Discover the stunning twin lagoons or take a short walk to the historic pā site for breathtaking panoramic views of the bay.
Moturua Island
Home to beautiful walking tracks and four stunning sandy beaches. It's a popular spot for anchoring and may even feature a visit from local dolphins.
Hidden Coves

Sensation Charter Rates
We will match any quoted rates for a similar bareboat yacht charter in the Bay of Islands!

Refundable Bond: A $1,000 bond applies to all charters.
Linen Hire: Available at $30 NZD per set - pillow cases, sheets and duvet covers.
SUP Hire: Available for $50/day for the full length of your charter.
Minimum Hire: 7 days in Peak Season, 5 days at all other times.
